Cornbread

If using this to make dressing, make it at least 1 day ahead so it has some time to dry out. You can use self rising flour, but omit baking powder and salt.

Ingredients

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
14 cup sugar
2 tsps baking powder
1 cup milk
14 cup oil
2 eggs, beaten
12 tsp salt

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
