Cornbread
If using this to make dressing, make it at least 1 day ahead so it has some time to dry out. You can use self rising flour, but omit baking powder and salt.
Ingredients
| 1 cup | all purpose flour |
| 1 cup | cornmeal |
| 1⁄4 cup | sugar |
| 2 tsps | baking powder |
| 1 cup | milk |
| 1⁄4 cup | oil |
| 2 | eggs, beaten |
| 1⁄2 tsp | salt |
Steps
- Mix all ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
