Pork Chops with Caramelized Onions

Ingredients

14 cup butter
4 pork chops
12 tsp salt
12 tsp pepper
3 med onions, thinly sliced
14 tsp rosemary
2 tsps garlic

Steps

  1. Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add pork chops. Cook over medium-high heat, turning once, until browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove chops to serving platter. Keep warm.
  2. Place onions in skillet with pan juices; sprinkle with rosemary. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onions are caramelized, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in garlic; continue cooking until garlic is softened, 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Return chops to pan; continue cooking until pork reaches at least 160 degrees, 4 to 5 minutes.
